Last month I found 100 silver coins in an epic 2 day hunt in Southern California. I came across this area about a month or so prior to finding these coins when I wasn't having any luck at the popular swim spots. After about 15 minutes, I scored 6 silver in a relatively small area. The tide and time ran me out and a week later it's sanded back in. Flash forward about a month, I went back during some high surf and saw a decent amount of sand gone so I went at it. I was hitting coins at almost every step and the silver to clad ratio was pretty close to 1 to 1.
I'll post some before and after photos. It took me approximately 7 hours to clean everything using electrolosis. Some came out better than others. One thing I found useful to speed up the cleaning process was to use an eraser with baking soda to rub. Saved time and my fingers.
Grand totals: 7 half dollars, 25 quarters, 51 rosies, 16 mercs, and 1 nickel.

Thanks for looking.
