LOVE DIGGING CIVIL WAR RELICS...

Got out for a few hour's of digging and found a few item's to add to my collection. Not sure what the round thing is in the first picture so if anyone can help it would be greatly appreciated. I'm sure Buckleboy will know!!! First time I've found a cannon fuse and a Rifleman Button.I also enjoyed seeing the 1810 half cent come out of the ground... Anyway, I hope everyone has had a good weekend!!!

Nice Finds Todd!! Looks like a Hotchkiss fuse plug. The round iron could be canister. That's a nice Rifleman's Eagle button. HH.

Iron ball connected to another iron ball with a short chain? Fired by the dozens into an enemy formation producing shredded humans and carnage?
Weight? It seems to have had a loop on it at some time.

Good Job Bud Thats a nice little haul that you have there. That indeed is a nice Hotchkiss fuse and the other item looks like an iron cannister shot round, i have several just like it though the sprue on yours looks alittle different. All in all a nice day my friend. See you in a couple at DIV

P.S. I got out yesterday and dug about 12 bottles worth about $1200 dollars altogether so we had a pretty good day also

The Iron object looks like grapeshot or canester shot I have some as well I will post a picture tonight and they are not perfectly shaped.
