Posted on best finds, but am glad to patronize Texas finds.
After a lot of square nails, knew this area held promise of something old. The toy wheel was kinda nice. This guy was shooting both a .25 and a .32 cal firearm judging by the empty rimfire cartridges.
It is cool to think about the lives of these folks and how they lived. Some small knowledge is gained by what they left on the ground.
Finally got real lucky and pulled a coin, in very good shape, cleaned up with just a little water.
My oldest coin to date. To say I was thrilled, would be putting it lightly!!!
Will be back with more contributions.
See Ya'll.
