Have found many simular to this stone... Spokeshave? From SE Oklahoma, Quachita forest is my playground. This stone was found at what I believe is an old campground. There are Several stone circles ( simular to fire pits ) I have found many flint, quartzite, and chert artifacts in this area. Slightly sloped hillside not far from the creek. This is just the beginning of sorting through my finds on our ranch.

Great find!! ...And a good eye!

Certainly looks like a stone spokeshave. Maybe used for making wagon wheel spokes while on the trail? Not sure that it's Indian, but could be. I'm not familiar with your area.

I am not far from the Trail of Tears... I'm sure you know of it. Thank you
