Low Budget Reviews: Red wine - 'Distionction Porto' by Croft
Red wines are usually very bitter. I purchased this attempting to benefit from the health benefits of antioxidants of red wines. It was recommended by the owner of the establishment. The wine was not bitter at all. Not at all dry. Sweet taste, thicker than normal wine. At 20 percent by volume, it 'does the trick', but maintains the healthy benefits. The nose test, throws a hint at 'liquor', but the taste is far from it and the sweetness is very smooth. Definitely a thumbs up, and recommended for a 'one time trial' if you care to try it. My purchase price was $16 for the bottle.
