Low Country Weekend finds in the Watermelon Patch

Got a call out of the blue last week from my uncle Cletus. He owns the largest watermelon farm in the Low Country. He said if I would come down and bring someone with a strong back with me to give him a hand he would plow the fields and we could hunt it. After asking where his regular help was he explained forman still had 60 days to serve and both of his daughters were pregnant and couldn't lift more than 75 pounds.I thought me and Todd Lipe could do the job of those 14 and 15 year old girls and agreed to go down. On the way down we saw a guy walking down the road with a Minelab on his shoulder. Turns out it was Twin Picks and he agreed to come along. Hard to say no when Todd points a shotgun at you. I guess. Anyway after filling all those jugs with Uncle Cletus's Sweet Water from that Copper tank he allowed us to hunt. We are all still cleaning most of our finds.But it was a Great Weekend with Todd and Darin if you don't count Darlene going into labor changing our flat tire. BTW it's another girl 12 pounds 14 ounces.

Yeah I do. Field was full of it. Pipestems and glass too. Not to mention some Amazing finds that are still being cleaned by all three of us.

Man BP WE ALL had a Blast. You ever get tired of digging good signals one after the other? I told you that you should have come up. We had to leave so much in the ground but Everybody left with great finds and Full pouches. It was Fun for me watching relic newbies digging the heck out of that place. Love me some watermelon too

Anytime brother Glad y'all made some Sweet Finds. Just want you to know its not Always like this trip. I've hunted where I wished I'd find atleast a flat button. Pouch isn't always as full of as fast

That is amazing Im glad you have people to hunt with it makes it a lot more fun I don't know of anyone where I live. Those are really cool finds Im always amazed at how much stuff people drop .
