We spent the first hour crossing off 2 target fields. The crop-marks we are guessing are Bronze Age, & not of interest to us, so time to move on.

I had a plan & Cru'dad had a plan, as it happens I think he made the right strategy choice in the end. I wasn't that keen on this Roman Site, as it's a low yield site with our best coin count in any 1 year being 8 scrappies.
He had scouted this field for 1 hour this week & got 1 scrappy & a Roman Spoon Bowl, pictured with today's finds;
(4.5 hours)

13 Roman Coins (1 good one of Allectus Galley type, found by Cru'dad OTWBTTC) Best year off this field :laughing7:
Roman Spoon Bowl
Post Medieval Spur Bit
Tudor Book Mount
1590-92 Lizzy Halfgroat (Cru'dads 2 dig - kiss off death, but keeping the streak alive)

Thanks for the continued support.
I was most pleased with the Roman Galley coin as its now our best of its type for the collection.
The fairly common hammered Lizzy will go to the farmer.

I think you found so many great finds that you could open your own museum by now. Congrats Crusader.

I think that button with the star on it is so cool! Never seen one like it. Not as cool as Roman coins but I really like it..

Your finds across the pond are awesome! :icon_thumleft:

This smaller sized dandy button is the first of this design we have had, so it is another first for the massive button collection.:hello:

Wow,I'd like to have a low yield day too.Congrats :notworthy:

Congratualtions on the excellent hunt! :occasion14:

Awesome!!!! Congrats!!!

Nice digs Cru. Miss of death, maybe, but I’ve seen your sites come alive again more than once. Try 100 meters away;)

Keeping the strike alive is fine even when it's the kiss of death. :icon_thumright:

I’m liking them “low yield” finds! HaHa
