I do NOT throw hissy fits! Now you say you're sorry right now (stamping feet and jumping up and down)

who voted mother ship? :tard: :D

You know, it only takes a spot as big around as your finger to hide a gold ring. Luck if you happen to get a signal and skill if you determine that....... aw heck, I might as well dig up that pull tab so I won't have to worry about going across it again. You say, "dang it's a gold ring" Then the happy dance begins because there was that small voice in the back of your mind telling you that it just might be a good one. I guess skill and experience are one in the same with us detectorists. Keep practicing and skill will come in time.

Now that I've rambled on with something that probably only makes sense to me I'll give it back to you. Best of luck.....Oh, I mean best of skill to you. ;D

Ok, here's the airy fairy componet chiming in, I feel it's ALL about "intent!" yes, I do. So there. Humpf

Luck

but I would have voted for persistence.

Example: This dried up swimming hole is very popular. Net: two dime, two pennies :(

I'm hoping persistence will get some gold next year!
