Went to the local Pawn shop on Saturday and could not belive my eyes. I found a Minelab Safari in Excellent condition for $29.00 dollars. I believe I almost passed out in the store!!!. They even included a new set of batteries so I could try it outside their store. After I purchased it and got home, I noticted they had it listed as a radar detector on the receipt instead of a metal detector.

Great deal! I hope I get as lucky when I start looking for a water detector!
Of course I'll probably get the one from China with no innards! :dontknow:

I never in my life find deals like this. My brother in law bought a $650 compound miter sliding head saw from Home Depot for $230. They had marked the wrong ones down and he was still able to purchase it.

Even if the pawn shop got it cheap, they wouldn't have sold it cheap.

I thought the deal a buddy got at a pawnshop for a minelab 705 x-terra with 2 coils for $445 was a steal. You beat that in spades.
