Lumberjack Town Digs OLD Heart Pendant & 3 Buckles & More
This was a good day even if there were no old coins
I hunted that old lumberjack town I've hunted before and found some nice relics and also some even better historical facts.
I met a man who knows the history of the area well. He told me I'm digging in an area that was the log storage field for the lumberjacks back in the 1870's to about the early 1900's.
Also he said there was a tragedy here in the early 1900's when a house they built here burned to the ground. This explains all the square nails and carcoals I dig.
The finds:
1. 1 heart pendant at about 8 inches deep
2. 3 Buckles very deep
3. Unknown button?
4. Unknown brass pointed object?
5. 1 horse shoe
6. many unknown iron objects a few shown here
It was a great hunt and Thurday I plan to hunt old foundations and maybe a few cellar holes.
See if you can ID that cone shaped pointed metal object in the 1st picture.
Thanks and happy hunting!
