SIDE WALK DIG'S 1864 Indian,and unknown copper

Hit a sidewalk tear out.Found a 1864 Indian and this unknown copper piece very little detail and a 1935 wheat.Also found what appears to be a civil war bullet.Thank's for looking and good luck in the filed.HH

Nice stuff there!

There are people who amazingly can ID even the worst worn coppers. I lost the email address I had to some fellow out on the east coast. He's kind of the head of some group that studies colonial coppers. He ID a colonial for me a couple years ago.

Nice digs. I should hit more side walk tear ups. See them alot. I just feel funny about walking down the street in front of houses and neighbors.

Condition could be better. But I would still take them.

you must have the same kind of soil that we do around here. it just eats up copper. nice finds tho`.

Great job on the sidewalk digs Hunter. It looks like there may be enough detail on that old copper to identify it.I hope you can find out and repost it.You're right about condition not being as important as the age of a find. Best of luck to you. HH!
