Lunch break hunt nets MERC DIME, TRADE TOKEN, & Golden locket!

Hello!

I got out yesterday during my lunch break before it got too hot for me to detect. Not bad for such a short hunt! 1944-s Merc dime, 5c trade token, a gold-colored locket (just gold plated), and plenty of clad & pull tabs.

The token reads, M. McALPIN'S / CIGAR STORE / ALBANY, OR // GOOD FOR / 5c / IN TRADE . It is a pretty common trade token (rated as a R-2 in the book), but still fun to dig!

CONGRATS! btw, I want them all: your merc, your neat token, your gold pendant! They're very nice, & also after having very little time for detecting the past few months, yesterday I managed to sprain my knee right before two days of planned detecting activity. I'd even written "goof off" all over the calendar! Not to be, but knee is way better tonite so I'll be out there soon to dig me own pretty heart pendant. Andi
