Lunch Break Silver ~ 1926 Merc Dime!

Hello!

I was able to spend about an hour today detecting for my lunch break. I dug some clad, a 1956 wheat cent, and a 1926 Merc dime! This is my silver coin find #95 for the year! Only five more to go until I hit my goal of 100!

Most of the silver coins I dig have uneven surface toning so I usually will clean 'em up with a paste made from baking soda and water . . . . . but this 1926 Merc dime isn't too bad looking ~ it's got a very nice gun-metal gray toning that's very even all over the coin ~ so I didn't clean it up like I usually do ~ just ran it under warm water and brushed off the dirt with my fingers.

I took a close-up pic of the date area . . . . . I'm not sure why . . . . just for fun I guess!

OH YEAH ~ I eat plenty! Don't worry about me! I can eat at my desk while I'm working ~ then I don't "waste" time eating on my lunch break ~ it's all for detecting! WOOHOO!

OH YEAH ~ 1926-S is a very good date! Mine's a "P" mint though ~ which is kinda weird for me because I mostly find "D" and "S" mints here!
