Lunchtime hunt!

Hello everyone, got out at lunch today for a quick hunt at an old dumpsite. Found what i think may be an old snuff box. Bent up and dirty, but not too bad. also found the lid and some attachments that went on top. Looks to be silver plated, so not sure it will clean up much. There is no hinge to it, it just sets on top. Approx. 3 & 1/2 by 2 & 1/2 inches. Also found this cool two piece brass buckle that is about 4 inches long. Maybe horse tact, but not sure. Hello everyone, new update on the metal box. It is silverplate and I found a stamp that says Elgin American Mfg co. Not to be confused with the Elgin watch co. That in turn according to history means it more than likely is a vanity or trinket box as they made many cosmetic, cigarette and vanity boxes in the 20s and 30s. Alot of the plateing is coming off as i try to clean it up with oooo steel wool. Still pretty cool though! Thank you everyone Paul
