I Only Listen on YouTube/TreasureNet So I'm Enjoying Some Things again. When I Had 8 Tracks, & Cassettes & Drove around Constantly
Though I had hundreds of Tapes, I Mainly Stuck To a Few Regularly When I wasn't alone. (My Personal Taste When Alone, Was a Bit Out There, Zappa , Pink Floyds Early Stuff. Fugs, David Peel, Cpt Beefheart etc )
I Eventually Got Sick of certain Bands & Couldn't Listen to them Anymore. Now I'm Finally Re-Enjoying them

When out and about, I listen to the SXM Classic Vinyl station mostly. They play a lot of great songs and groups that I had forgotten about.

Because it's on 24/7 I Didn't Realize I'm Listening to Jazz as I Was Typing . OccasionallyI'll Put on The Blues Channel on Music Choice
too & Just Raise the Volume which ever one I Like at the Moment

Every Live Cover Band I had to Be at the Club For, Seemed to Play Gimmie 3 Steps.

Not sure How Bands Put up with Playing the Same Thing over & Over

& What was the Strange part, if We Got Haji Which would play Floyd,
Geneses & Stuff like that, No one would Show up.
They would Travel to another Club that Played the Old
Garbage Everyone Played,

I think if we Hired Steppenwolf to play,
Everyone would yell 'Smoke on the Water'

Yes they were very popular rock songs of the fabulous 1970s rock...🎵🎶🎼👍


I was single through out the 70s, if I wasnt at work the tunes were playing, either on my stereo in my van or on my home stereo system I bought in Okinawa/Japan while in AirForce, brought it back to the states in 1971, I was 23...

We put on an album as soon as we woke up for work, then to van stereo, then portable players at work when allowed, repeat on way home.

My stereo system was the envy of all my friends back then. The yen to dollar exchange in 1969 to 1971 was 350+ yen to the dollar ( now its 153 to dollar), I paid about a forth of what my stereo system would have cost in the states.

● Sansui 5000 AM/FM receiver (55 watts per channel)
It sold for $500 in states, in 1970 I paid little over $125.00. The average hourly rate then was $3.50 hour so $500 was a lot of money for receiver in states. The Sansui 5000 was considered the top of the line then.

True, there was only one Lynyrd Skynyrd to me. I did see his brothers Donnie with 38 Special and Johnny Van Zant in their own bands..

The first song I could palay on a drum set. I didn't have the feet (bass drum and working the hi-hat) down at all and this song is a lot of just snare and hand work;
