I thought I would re-purpose a shovel today. It is 30" long, very sharp, and serrated. tomorrow I may weld the handle to the bottom and give the whole thing a new shot of lacquer to keep it from rusting and make cleaning a little easier. The working end was almost twice as long as shown. I cut it down and to a point. The sides are 8". I sawed off the wooden shaft to re-mount the handle flush with the bottom, then put in 4 stainless screws to hold it on.

Silverpirate- That shovel is absolutely awesome. I'd buy one right now if it were less pricy than the predator ones.
Really great work!!!!
