I want to find out about this rock. I am hoping that it is a meteorite. In the last photo, the silver piece you can see is the magnet. The size is roughly 1 and a half cm.

Strange, looks kinda like a cinder? In what area was it found?

I believe that's a slaggerite. Looks like smelter slag.

1st - I noticed this was your very first post - so, Welcome Aboard SpaceRock! You didn't list your state (or country) in your profile. So, you might consider jumping over to Sub-Forum: Select Your Area.... and selecting location information (i.e., clubs, hunts, finds, legends, maps, etc.) directly related to your state (or country). You might also consider adding your state (or country) to your displayed profile (SETTINGS -> EDIT PROFIL
E) - members may have more success helping you (your location may help, etc.)...
