Here is a pretty good example of a pecked hardstone adze.It shows minimal use wear. Hardstone tools as one can imagine usually show alot of damage.I have alot of broken tools.The adze in conjunction with the gouge were thought to be used for the manufacture of dugouts.

Nice one! Pecked tools from hardstone are so simple to make. Simple pecking with a harder stone. The thing is it takes many hours. Few modern people have the patience to make one.
