Man in old photo negative ID help

I have an old negative glass plate and I reversed it on the computer to get this image. Just wondered if anyone might have an idea of who it might be as in a famous person etc. Thanks

I would say Samuel Clemens since at the bottom it says Mark Twain.

If you enlarge photo in the bottom right it says mark twain inverted so probably taken from a photo image library of twain images?It's not Twain but the image came from one of those galleries.this is Twain

Names are reversed in the newspaper clipping. Not saying same as o.p. pic.. Some similarities though. Can't see left ear in first pic....
