Many have sold their CZ-20's.

I have heard that many are selling their Fisher CZ-20's as fast as they can to buy other detectors. Two friends of mine have gotten rid of theirs since Fisher changed the repair prices if they will repair them at all. Makes you wonder about the others they make. I still have my CZ20 and CZ6A, though I haven't used the 20 in a while since I always use the Excal in the water now.

Is it a good idea to hang onto the CZ20 till it breaks or Deep Six it afterward?

Sandman there is talk of a P.I. machine with discrimination from White's have you heard anything yourself.

Re: Many have sold their CZ-20's.

Whites already has the PI out in the Surf PI Pro. It has some discrimination I am told, but I have not used it yet. It would be great if they had a PI with as much disc. as a VLF. But I understand they don't work that way..........yet. Garrett has the LS and it has discrimination too.

Re: Many have sold their CZ-20's.

I have had several people say its coming from White's. But as a dealer we don't get info as soon as the customer it seems.

Re: Many have sold their CZ-20's.

Getting any info from the manufactures is like pulling teeth. Seems they let out a tidbit knowing it will get everyone excited and hold off on the purchase for the other detector while waiting for the "new model."

Re: Many have sold their CZ-20's.

The new Whites is a licensed/modified version of Eric Fosters Goldscan 5B. Lets just hope it goes as deep !
Not true discrimination but a step in the right direction. Add the Australian magnometer from Reeves and the traditional iron problems of P.I.'s are almost solved. Note the word 'almost'.
The CZ 20 never cut the mustard in the U.K. but then the whole CZ range didn't make much impression. Partly down to price as you could do the same job far cheaper with other brands.
