Many were just laying on top of the mud and sand; no, not gold rings - maybe tomorrow

Hi :hello:,

Windy conditions have eased up to "breezy", but the targets are still being tossed around.

Had a "coin" day today- including a 70 yrs.old silver "George"..that one was nice to see in the scoop.

The "Lion" brand lock is a first for me...wasn't sure at first if it was a lighter or not.

Below is a link to some info on the company that manufactures this lock; they seem to be doing well.

Tianjin Light Import & Export Co., Ltd. - China (Mainland) - Manufacturer, Trading Company

Here's some pics..thanks for looking

Lorraine

We've got some heavier tides coming up and I'm hoping for some decent wind with them? Sometimes it only takes a just little stirring that makes all the difference in the world. Good quarter count!

When we find a 1942 quarter here it is sothin that a newspaper page is thicker. Congrats on the old silver and other items.

lot of good targets still

The Lion Lock is Cool!

love the torpedo!

Fine diggins!

For me more Congratulation. You are always the best

More good stuff. Just curious how you clean your jewelry AFTER electrolysis? I got an older looking ring yesterday with yellow gold and i think white gold but might be silver. The yellow was clean as a whistle but the white i had to use a little electrolysis to clean up. Kind of ornate with a ruby. You get yours so polished are you using some sort of a polisher?

Hi DG,

After electrolysis, I rinse the item to remove the bits of clinging tarnish... and then dip it in some Tarn-X for a minute or two..followed by a rinse, and then lightly brush with baking soda/Tarn-X mixture ( paste consistency).

Sometimes I have to use Q-tips if the tarnish is stubborn..

The x-tra shine comes from polishing with "Jewelers' Rouge"...the black chalk for silver and gold

p.s.Feel free to PM me if you have any questions.

Great target count Lorraine. Keep up the good work!
