i have been practicing dowsing now for about a month, i feel my confidence is not where it should be yet . My Dad and I will be out in Southern new Mexico in a couple of weeks detecting an area we have done allot of research on and been out to a few times , would love to map dowse the area prior to going but i keep getting all kinds of readings i must not be asking the right questions using the wrong map i don't know so i could use any and all help thank you feel free to email me ???

Thanks Mike, I have taken Meany relaxation classes prior to knowing about dowsing , i guess i should use what i already know on relaxation.

Hey actionstriping. Before I start a map I make a list of what I am looking for. I then ask for permission to Dowse the map…..http://thunting.com/smf/index.php?PHPSESSID=4e776c56358582cd0f14f28df556d41e&topic=329.0
I then ask my questions and write down the positive answers. I then divide the map into four sections and ask for the positive questions. I label the 4 sections 1a, 1b, 1c and 1d. If I get positive responds to more than one section I note which section was positive to which question. I divide these sections in to fourths and label them 2a, 2b,2c and 2d…I keep dividing sections until I am down to about ¼ inch sections.
The main thing to do is to put only question on your list that you and your equipment are compellable of locating. IE..When you word your question and only use a metal detector you want to find a gold vein under 1 foot deep. If you ask for gold veins you may get a lot of positive hits but you can not locate a lot of them. If there is a ½ oz nugget 2 feet deep you will read it. The question is if you can find it.
When I finish a map I always THANK the powers that have helped me…..Art
