Marine Park, Brooklyn?

Just got my permit on Friday and it rained all weekend. So I plan on hitting a local park today or tomorrow to metal detect. It looks like Marine Park is quite large... Does anyone have experience hunting this park? If so, where is a good place to start? If not, any other Brooklyn parks I could hit instead?

Hey, if you're interested in having a hunting buddy while hitting Marine Park(or anywhere else) this upcoming weekend, let me know.
I'm also in Brooklyn and go hunt EVERY Saturday and Sunday.
