Found a little more info on "Historical Massie's Farm". From Google maps, it looks like both sides of river might be accessible for detecting. See which way the river is flowing and which areas might have been washed out by the flooding. I found Massie's land on both side of the river. The washout at the Baltimore-OH Southwest might help, too.
