Maui

Just spent a week in Maui, the beaches we were at definatly get pounded. I met people detecting every morning and had a great time visiting while the sun came up. Found tons of clad but the rings and necklaces dancing around in my mind just never showed. The wife loved it so I would definatly go back for her even if all I find is coffee money. I was impressed with my AT starting out on the dry sand after everything I read about beach hunting with it. As soon as I got close to the wet sand was sure I just hit the mother load, went a little further and well, umm, ya, think I will stick to the dry sand. Any suggestion for a salt water machine for somebody that only sees the ocean maybe once a year.
