MD website ' Adventure History ' from Germany (in English)

Hi all,

my name is Thorsten and I search in Germany using a metal detector.

End of July 2006 I have launched my own private metal detecting website. The language is English. If you would like to see some European relics, please have a look and see whether something is interesting for you. My main search area is battlefield searching, in particular World War 2.

The homepage starts here
http://www.adventurehistory.com

The quickest overview is the selected finds/catalogue section which is found here. Just select your favourite period.

Very popular are WW2 firearms finds which are shown here

Besides showing find pictures like all MD websites this one also gives search reports with many background information. If you do not mind longer articles please check out this example.

This account describes the metal detecting search on the trails of a SS division in the last days of World War 2.

Apart from these descriptions of practical hunts there is also one section dedicated to classic treasure hunting mysteries. Destillated from countless books on these topics the actual chances to make biblical finds, to salvage the treasures of Oak Island or Cocos Island or to strike rich at Rennes Les Chateau are discussed. These chapters receive far less hits than the ones mentioned above, maybe because they do contain hardly any pictures. The content, however, is much more rare on the net than, say, find pictures.

The site comprises some 300 html pages. A printout including pics would even require up to 1000 pages. The links above are just a selection of this content rich site.

Greetings from Germany
Thorsten
