so I changed my name from Madmardigan to reflect my real name which, of course, is Bob.

This was from our trip to Ireland Oct 2008.
Unfortunately one of those beers belonged to the wife
Fortunately there was plenty more where that came from.

Did you tour the St James' factory and pull your own. Great experience. Wife is from Ireland so it was great

I take it they are black beers? Yum-Yum

No we did not. I was hoping to fit it in as Guinness is my favorite beer, but we were still doing shots of Jameson at the distillery, so we had that going for us :tard:

Where is your wife from? We did a loop starting in Dublin, went north to Giants Causeway, Londonderry, West to Dongeal (by far my favorite town) South to Cliffs of Moher, Galway, Killarney, Ring of Kerry, Limerick.

Magical country over there. Can't wait to get back again

Pretty cool stuff. I know from my experience I've yet to duplicate my beer drinking tastes since two trips to Germany. My favorite was from a little local brewery, amazing.

 great to see ya, Bob.

Aaahhh the water of life! When we were in Dublin in '94, we frequented a pub, Langhans on the banks of the Liffy river in Dublin. That place had been in continuous use as a pub for 400 years! Guinness seems to taste better in Ireland! Eire go Braugh!

Indeed it does. I've tried it at a bunch of Irish pubs back here in the states since we've been home and it does not taste the same.

Nice Mug It sounds like you had a great trip I would love to see Ireland in person some day its where my mothers side of the family came from!
