Found this one yesterday on a mountain ridge in East Slovakia. It was in close proximity to several Russian Mosin-Nagant shell casings and I thought with the similar signal, that it would be yet another one.......! At first it looked like some kind of el-cheapo carnival ring--maybe a Soviet soldier dropped it during the heat of action.......? While cleaning my finds from my outing, I noticed an interesting patina not seen in more modern brass/copper items--that's when I stopped and sent a photo to a friend who knows about "older" stuff. Yep, it's real old--he said probably 13th century!!!! The stone/glass is green!
Thanks for looking and HH!!!
