yes, not me, but recently somebody posted about finding a dateless shield nickel(before the v nickel) in a nickel bag... please keep in mind, before the v nickel is the shield nickel... before the shield nickel was the half dime, and the half dime is silver and way smaller than a us dime. a shield nickel would be the oldest possible coin to find in a nickel roll.

my oldest nickel find is from 1904 or 1902, i forget which date.

I only have one shield nickel. It is a major rotation error. Sadly dateless.
