Already talked to admins and they are looking into it now... They installed new server to fix previous issue that may have something to do with it...

2.14 MB photo upload attempt gave me a red x Error. It says file is to large.

well..i keep getting file to large...yet I have photos in my profile that loaded.
also, while I am attempting to load kilobytes, the machine is telling me I am doing megabytes....big difference.

I am sure they will fix it. Most photos I used to upload were 2MB-3MB which isn't that big. I did high res so the picture would clearly show everything. Going to low res sucks because they lose clarity. I wouldn't think there would be a 2mb limit since most cameras now a days far exceed that as megapixels have gotten bigger. Probably just a small bug in the new server after "The great photo fiasco" we recently emerged from.

Gone back to admins, I have no issue so not affecting everyone but we do have multiple reports so we know there are issues..

I agree really with very few exceptions.

like some Maps, & print seem to need larger amounts

most of my pics are 44 KB give or take

The nice thing about 5 meg limit in pictures is it holds together when blown up and many times members need to blow up picture to see tiny detail, especially useful on Indian Artifacts, small gold coins, jewelry and so on...

Oh and 5 meg is nice on those summer bikini shoots too...:D
