Probably one of the hottest detecting spot with rich history such as old baseball field that was THE place to be on Fridays throughout the last century, and before that old county fairgrounds...I just left Plattburgh because school ended and missed out on this but whoever is in the area should get there ASAP!!!

I would imagine they would not have a problem with this because one, your cleaning up garbage and two they are tearing it down anyways!!!

Found a 1905 Barber Dime there last year!

I know this is way late, but yea I've detected there about 3 times and I had no problem. Keep in mind I am 21 and they look at MD hobbyist my age with more criticism. The first time I actually pulled a 1910 silver dime as city workers were laying new sand on the baseball field. They didn't mind and I saw atleast one other person MD'ing.
