Hello everyone! I just purchased a garrett 350 metal detector about a month and a half ago and have absolutely loved metal detecting! When I was young i can remember going on trips with my dad when he got his new metal detector. We had so much fun at so many different old house places and schools but as i got into high school and I started doing different things and he also kind of slowed down on the hobby. So when I first started metal detecting with my new purchase the single most important discovery I have made is the rediscovery of the old fun memories with my dad! My 17yr old son is also having a blast with me so the tradition is going alive and well! Our first discovery were two wheat pennies (1944 & 1945) and a silver one schiling from Paupa New Guinea 1938! I live in Northeast Oklahoma in the foothills of the Ozarks so we have plenty of old homesites to keep us busy. Happy Hunting to all!
