First hole of the day at an urban park was the Merc. After that all wheats & clad. 2nd trip in a row where my first hole was a merc and then thereafter just wheats & clad. The merc was around 6 inches & on it's side. Signal was lousy.

Met up with a couple fellow hunters, one of which is on T-Net (forgot his screen name...Bill from NJ maybe?). Good guys. They found a Merc and a .925 ring between them.

Finds were a 1923 Merc, 6 Wheats, a little lead ball (maybe buckshot?), and the NJ Property Tax rebate was $1.66.

Happy hunting all!

Two hunts in a row with silver. Well done. Im on a bit of a hot streak myself with five silvers in a little over a week

yeah very glad to hear it b/c i knew you were sweating finding a new spot...looks like you found one, at least for modern silver. time for you to find another colonial honey hole.

Heyyyyy, how'd I miss that silver?! Just kidding...you're doing well out there! Keep them coming

Steve

I dont consider Barbers to be modern silver. Especially if they look like they were dropped near their date

Silver is silver you take them where you can find them.

What,, someone say they want to give me their MODERN SILVER? ?
Congrats on a nice hunt.

Sounds like you had a fun group hunt with a couple members. Everyone pulled a silver, how cool is that. Congrats on the Merc.

Nice job on pulling the Merc.

Totally relate to this, I found my first mercury in really hunted park, and also pulled 2 wheats from same area, but on different days.
