Mercury, wheats & a little whiskey
I went out today after a little work looking for a new lot to hunt, found one where a house had been tron down & obtained permission to hunt it. The first signal was a dime and when I pulled out the 1919 dime I thought it was going to be a great day. It went down hill after the dime with three wheat's, 1929s, 1941s & 1944, a 1945 ten centavos from Brazil and a ring with the dollar sign (no marks on the ring) After that the telephone tag came up and then a half dollar size coin that I could not tell what it was until I got it home and cleaned it up. Turned out to be a Park & Tilford Kentucky Whiskey good luck token from around the 1930's. Add that to $1.80 in clad & I guess it was a good two hour hunt.
