I heard about a local curb and sidewalk tear-out yesterday, so Brett and I decided to check it out
this afternoon. That didn't pan out for us so we tried a park that I dug a Merc from earlier this week. My first signal turned out to be a 1919 Merc, and I thought it was a 1/2 Reale at first as it was so chewed up and bent. After a wheat or two I got another good signal next to some junk. It was so close that I couldn't even get a decent pinpoint on it. But I had put on my 6x10dd coil to work the vertical curb cuts earlier and was just too lazy to switch it back. Glad I did as I don't think my regular coil would have picked up on this coin. Turned out to be a 45 Merc and my 50th silver for the year.
Now, on to 100 or maybe I should just make it 75.
Thanks for looking guys!
