Any idea what this is? It's 3" long. Hollow on the inside except at the tip.

My brother-in-law worked out in the oil fields cleaning well pipe, they sent a nozzle down the pipes with high pressure water behind, I wonder if it might be something to that effect.Not saying it is that nozzle just on the same concept.

Thanks BOTB - good theory - for context this was found alongside a cove so maybe fishing or boat related?

What is the material in the end?Wood,Plastic,metal or being found alongside a cove maybe cork.

Great question - really not sure - it's very hardened like metal but seems too grainy to be metal - almost like concrete

What type of metal is it, if it is ferrous I would rule out anything with continuous water contact.check with magnet.
