Metal Detecting
Metal detecting finds this morning include an iron leg off an old wood stove, an old horseshoe, an old pocketknife, a vintage Westmoreland Glass Co. Grapeville, PA Spirit of St. Louis (Charles Lindbergh) candy container which originally would of had tin wheels, wings, nose cone and prop (circa 1920s), an old Ford Motor Co car/truck part, an old circa late 1800s medicine bottle, an old buckle, another old porcelain beer bottle stopper circa late 1800s, an old white milk glass lid of sorts, etc. As always if anybody can more clearly ID any of my finds please do. Good variety of finds! nice work. Whats the mark on the bottom of medicine bottle?

FullSizeRender - 3.webpFullSizeRender.webp No apparent makers mark on bottom Stef45 but are a couple of concentric circles. Also has CAP 2 OZ on bottom side of jar.

Great bunch of finds. I especially like the fancy bottle. That's a really cool one.
I was rooting through some old bottles this evening but the best one I found looks like an old ketchup bottle. The rest were all broken.

Found out what the fancy bottle was Garrett424 and have edited my original posting.

Could the white pieces be a mortar and pestle? :dontknow:
Nice finds anyway.:occasion14:
