Metal Detecting in the UK - need guidance

So I added something to my bucket list. I am seriously considering going to the UK within the next year to detect. I would have to have a guide who knows the laws, has the permissions and knows what they're doing.

Suggestions? PM if necessary. I know it won't be cheap.
