“Metal detecting is the worlds worst hobby”

I can only imagine that there is an article such as this one written on every hobby, sport, work, entertainment so what's the upside of readership reading this particular article.

1: Less competition out in the filed.
2: Another low end detector for sale at a reduced price.
3: A person trying hard to be a journalist.
4: Just a person-and the "All about me".

One could take offence at such an article written about our passion, and how dare her write such smite. Then again a golfer would feel the same if having read an article about costs, and the negativeness one could write a book on. This could go for fishing, hunting, and looking for gold-yes that endless fantasy of finding a huge nugget or a vein of endless yellow metal.

Note: Her attempt of trying to write humour fell short.
 

Actually we defend our hobby by filling in holes and respecting private property.
