Metal Detecting spots in Northeast Georgia

Hey y'all! I live in the beautiful Northeast Georgia Mountains (white county) and am looking for spots to metal detect. I know the laws/rules of the land and what/where I cannot go, but seeing if there was anyone that knew of some spots to go. I love metal detecting and gold panning, not a pro by no means, just love getting out and finding great things! My fiancee is a 100% disabled Veteran and I'm his caregiver through the VA...so getting out and dirt fishing is my stress reliever/me time. Veterans spouses/caregivers need an outlet too Thanks for any info, and happy hunting!

Tallulah Falls has some sites as long as you're not in the State Park. Rabun County (Clayton) would be my first area of seeking. Right on the NC/GA line on 441. Areas NE of Dahlonega seems like the better areas.
