Metal Detector Stand... Ideas, Thoughts? Could use your input!

I have a Teknetics T2SE and I go to the beach often and I can not convince myself to set that thing down in the sand! It has the speaker at the bottom etc, so I wanted to build a little stand for it. I know they sell them etc on Amazon, but I enjoy making things and/or re-purposing things.
I want to make something similar to below, but do not know where to start and i figured at least ONE person has come up with an idea right?

The pictures below are ideas of what i'm referring to... just something to hold it up anywhere from 6 inches to 2 feet. I'm fine with height. I really like the Nokta version (the last pic)

Any help coming up with fun ideas to do to make a stand will be much appreciated. (And no i don't have a 3D Printer) lol

I think there's a way to use those folding gun bipods to do this, but I disremember where I saw that.
