Metal vase filler....???

Found this in my usual river mudlarking spot. Found somewhat close to an 1895 Indian head. First thought was a vase filler/mancala piece but it’s metal (not sure what kind) and heavy! Seems to have a sort of gold gild to it and putting(?) on the bottom. Don’t see any markings or anything on it.

Is it possible it could be a smashed bullet?
I'd say not likely. Most of the time you see a copper bullet it is just copper jacket and copper jacket bullets are usually pretty modern, i.e. not shaped like a round ball and they usually they do really funky stuff instead of just smooshing. Anyway, I could be wrong and it's kind of hard to say without seeing the side. Good luck with the ID.
