Check the dark one for magnetic properties and Nickel content.

The other one is easy to check for gold.

Is it soft?

One drop of Nitric Acid would tell you.

The item on tjhe left has indications of being a meteorite. Covered with thumb sized dents. This comes from the surface melting as it enters the atmosphere. Its called abolation. The surface turning into gassious rock vaporizes.
