I wouldn't be so quick to give a no...
Could have fell several thousand years ago, rounded by glacial action, or by river agatation... I would have it sliced and the sections acid washed to be sure.

I would still hold on to it .prob. not from a recent fall it does look to have been in a stream or river for sometime .Most likely a "metor wrong" COOL LOOKING THOUGH.....

I believe your rock contains olivine crystals in the matrix? this one is not river warn as yours is. HH

Nice rock.... I need to get it tested but the closest lab to me is in Portland, Oregon. Some 350 miles away.
