Meteorites in Colorado?

Is there a good place to search for meteorites in Colorado?

There is a nifty handbook put out by the Colorado Geological Survey.It is "The Handbook of Colorado Meteorites"-costs $7.00. It has a map of all known meteorites falls in Colorado. Most of the known meteorites are from eastern Colorado. There is a reason for this as dark meteorites are more noticeable in plowed farmland or in areas with minor amounts of dark rocks. Western Colorado doesn't have the same amount of plowed fields and has an overabundance of dark igneous and metamorphic rocks. Areas such as desert with light colored rocks would mean meteorites would stand out. I also thought of walking thru some tailing piles with a magnet walking stick looking for weathered meteorites.
