Hit Metro Beach the day after labor day. Probably twenty or so hunters in the water when the sun came up. Yikes. Anyhow hit 40 coins, three rings, 5 earrings, three wheats, and lots of pieces of wire, nails etc. At least I did get one piece of Sterling.

Shame you didn't get more, but I've heard there are a few people hitting it at night. Congrats on the Ring.

Nice find keep it up..

thats a lot of competition, id say you did well considering.

Stoney Creek was a wash out too, as was Kennsington's two beaches.

With all those hunters, your going to need to install bumpers on your coil :tard: Nice job on the goodies.

Good stuff!!! I was one of the 20 in the water in the morning. I was wading with an XLT of all things. :) I just purchased a Tiger Shark so I'll be ready next season. Good finds! I picked up alot less change than you did but I managed to snag a sterling belly ring and a mens Titanium ring (which happens to fit perfectly).

I remember trying one of the metro beaches there a number of years back with my father-in-law when I was on vacation. It was opening day for detecting (must have been the day after labor day), and like you said there were about 20 to 30 people out in the water when we got there. Man was that ever a discouraging sight.

From the looks of your avatar photo, you've done alright in the past. I'd love to see a full sized version of that picture.

Jim
