Does anybody have one of these usb digital microscopes? These are a must have. They go up to 800 power.Show the object on the monitor. You can take photos as well as video. The only problem i have is im kinda a fumbleleena so you gotta be pretty steady.Heres a couple pics of the m.scope and monitor.Looking for pressure flaking on a tiny quartz scraper.

Dang that's a sweet toy! How much does that model cost? What magnification are you using in the submitted photo?

Actually its a friend of mines. He said he pd.$40.00 for it.I believe it was on about 20 power.....I will be investing though...

I agree. I think that anybody gettng a USB microscope should get one with an adjustable stage. Fiddling with that danged assembly for focus at 30x to 150x in your pictures is a never ending pita. Give me a good X-Y positioner under one of these cheap but effective Chinese microscopes.

Lighthouse sells a good model, the DM-1, but it's rather expensive. I hope to buy one in the near future, but just can't afford it right now. I want the combo model with the stand and the ott light to help take good photos and check my coins for errors.
With cataracts, I just can't see as good as I used to.
