So I found a few trinkets this weekend. In the past, the site had given up Rev. War 26th uniform buttons as as well as some high end Tudor Rose buttons, cuff links and early Spanish silver coin. This bone back button has some design on it that looks almost like a family crest. It's brass and 22mm. The Knee buckle? has a crown at each end and the frame is 25mmX20mm. It appears to be made from silver alloy. Any clues?

Can't help you too much with the ID but that buckle is gorgeous!

It seems like I'm getting closer to an ID on the buckle. I can see a clear "TR" on the tongue below the iron. The letters look identical to the buckle shown in Mt. Vernon. Also found a picture of the same makers mark in early American Silversmiths website. The lettering appears to be the same. Thomas Revere Silversmith as in Paul Reveres brother.
