Mid Morning Meandering

Here is a picture from a trail camera I have out that was taken this week .The coyote is less than 200 hundred yards from the house that is on the property and heading almost directly towards it . .Maybe he thinks the dog is sleeping and he can raid his food dish .More than likely there is a den with several pups nearby

The coyote population is small but growing in this area .Generally they are where they find easy food .Because they are inclined to eat meat or plant type food that might be a road killed deer or perhaps watermelon or apples . Even though they are a carnivore their diet is much like an omnivore

They eat ANYTHING that could possibly even slightly resemble food.
