Went out for another short hunt and found this button. I'm really hoping it's Civil War as it was found at a site that is rich with civil war and slave activity. I know it's military but I'm not sure what era or whom would have wore it. Any help is appreciated! IMG_5031.webpIMG_5030.webpIMG_5032.webp

Hi...I`m from Philippines. My brother found 1 attache case in the river almost 7yrs ago but till now, we don`t know how to process it and with whom to go to help us. Inside of the box, there`s 4pcs of gold coins (eagle design), the green cards with amount, and some important documents. Anyone can give us any idea??

Thank You...

The Great Seal button design didn't start until 1902. (just for future info)

Nice find, congratulations! :occasion14:

Nice find. Yup, Great Seal button from 1902 onward. The design is still in use today, so if you have a back mark that may narrow it down (WW1/WW2 or even later). Given the age of your site it's probably on the earlier side.
